Arvind Easwaran is an assistant professor in the School of Computer Engineering at NTU, Singapore. He received MS and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, USA, and a BE degree from University of Mumbai, India, all in Computer Science & Engineering. Prior to joining NTU in 2013, he has been an invited research scientist at Polytechnic Institute of Porto, Portugal, and an R & D Scientist at Honeywell Aerospace, USA.
His current research interests are in the areas of design and verification of cyber-physical software systems, especially in the design and analysis of systems with time-critical functionalities (i.e., real-time software systems).
These include (but are not limited to):
Real-time scheduling algorithms that are provably efficient.
Software parallelization approaches that are sensitive to real-time requirements.
Component-based modular design and analysis of systems.
Formal verification and testing methodologies for functional correctness.
