​Creation of 50 new named faculty chair professorships at NTU

At the university town hall that took place on the morning of 26 March 2019, NTU President Prof Subra Suresh announced the creation of 50 new named faculty chair professorships as part of a major effort to recognise outstanding achievement at early, mid-career and senior faculty levels.

The initiative is part of an ambitious plan, first announced at the university town hall in August 2018, to create up to 100 new term chair professorships over five years to attract, nurture and retain outstanding faculty at NTU.
